Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All chufa seed orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day. During peak planting seasons, processing times may be slightly extended, but we do our best to ship orders as quickly as possible.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We ship all 50 lb bags of chufa seeds through UPS, FedEx, or freight services, depending on order size and location. Typical delivery times are:

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days

  • Expedited Shipping (when available): 2–3 business days

  • Bulk Orders (Pallet/Freight): 5–10 business days

 *Delivery times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or high seasonal demand.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Order weight

  • Shipping distance

  • Selected carrier service

We aim to provide competitive shipping rates and may offer discounted freight shipping for multi-bag or pallet orders.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and carrier information. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after the package has been scanned by the carrier.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring all shipping information is accurate at checkout. Thomas Farms is not liable for delays or additional fees caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If an address correction is needed, please contact us immediately at (850)-736-5808 or (850)-736-1446

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship chufa seeds within the continental United States.
At this time, we do not ship internationally.
Certain states may have agricultural restrictions—customers are responsible for knowing their local regulations before placing an order.

Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and product.
We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and, when appropriate, send a replacement.

For lost or severely delayed packages, contact us at [your email/phone] and we will initiate a carrier investigation. Please note that carrier delays due to weather or peak season are outside our control.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the agricultural nature of seed products, all sales are final once shipped. We cannot accept returns on chufa seed bags.
If you receive the wrong item or a defective product, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Bulk and Wholesale Orders

For farm stores, feed suppliers, wildlife clubs, or customers needing multiple 50 lb bags, we offer:

  • Scheduled delivery arrangements
